Floor Plan
1. Price Guarantee - as soon as you have confirmed your booking and paid the deposit or full rental fee, the cost of rental is guaranteed against further increase. This guarantee is offered subject to our conditions of payment being met and providing no further amendments are made to your booking.
2. Booking & Payment
2.1 Deposit – To confirm your reservation, a deposit of £200/US$400 and a fully completed booking form are required. Once the booking is confirmed the deposit shall be non refundable but will be deducted from the total amount of the rental fee due.
2.2 Payment of the Balance – The balance of the rental fee is due 8 weeks prior to the date of your arrival at the property. We reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled if we do not receive the balance of the booking fee by the due date. In the event of any cheque not being honoured by the bank on which it is drawn we will make a charge of £10/US$20 to cover any bank charges and our administration costs.
2.3 How to Pay – By cheque payable to Mr A J & Mrs R Barclay. Alternatively we do accept payment via PayPal which attracts a small additional administration fee.
3. Cancellation – The following charges will apply from the date of notification:
Up to 56 Days Prior to Arrival - Deposit Only
28 – 55 Days Prior to Arrival - 50% of Full Rental Fee
27 Days or Less Prior to Arrival - 100% of Full Rental Fee
4. Alterations to Confirmed Bookings – We will do all we can to accommodate alterations but cannot guarantee to meet all requests.
5. Rental Period – The rental commences at 4pm on the day of arrival and ends at 10am on the day of departure. Failure to vacate the property by the due time may incur an additional charge. Late check-out is available on request for an additional fee. The rental fee includes electricity, water and local taxes however pool heating is separately charged. Local telephone calls are free.
6. Security Deposit – You will be required to provide a Security Deposit with the balance of the rental fee of £250/$450, to be held as surety against loss or damage caused by any member(s) of your party. The rental fee allows for standard cleaning charges following vacation of the property, any excess cleaning charges incurred will be deductible from the security deposit. Garbage is collected twice per week, the charge for the disposal of excess garbage from the property will be deductable from the security deposit. The deposit or balance thereof, is fully refundable usually 14 days after the keys have been returned which allows the management company to undertake a full inventory and inspection of the property. Minor breakages may not be deductible but we ask that any damage or breakages be reported to our managing agents so they may be replaced/repaired.
7. Occupancy – The accommodation is reserved exclusively for the people named on the booking form and no other person is permitted to stay in the premises. Should guests encounter any problems with the villa during their stay, the management company must be advised immediately.
8. Safety – The owners and their agents do not accept any liability whatsoever and howsoever caused for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal effects. Guests are specifically requested not to allow unsupervised children to use the pool or spa.
9. Pool & Spa Heating - The property has a private swimming pool which may be heated upon payment of an additional fee. If pool heating is requested after guests have arrived, a further fee will be payable to the management company. Guests may use the swimming pool at their own risk. The safety rules listed in the Information Book held in the home should always be observed. Pool heating will be activated on the day requested. Please note it may take some time to reach maximum temperature. For safety reasons the maximum temperature is set at 85°F. Guests should be aware that periods of unseasonable cold weather may affect the ability of the electric pool heater to maintain the highest pool temperatures. The owners and their agents cannot accept responsibility for periods of unseasonable weather.
In the case of heater failure please contact the Management Company immediately and every effort will be made to repair the heater promptly. In these unlikely circumstances refunds will be given for the days guests are without pool heat.
10. Force Majeure – As owners of the property we will not be liable for loss or delay caused by any of the following: strikes, industrial dispute, riots, political unrest, hostilities, war or threat of war, terrorist activities, fire, flood, technical/weather problems with transport, aircraft grounding, closure of airports or ports, weather conditions or any other event beyond the owners’ or their agents control.
